Palo Alto and the rest of the Bay Area saw a rough transition from winter to spring, as seen through gusty conditions that resulted in power outages and falling trees (almost on a weekly basis). Just like the windy weather, there were other happenings that made waves through the city, including the launch of the Palo Alto Link shuttle system, the state’s rejection of the city’s multiyear housing plan and Silicon Valley Bank’s downfall.
