Makes me so angry to see us getting ripped off by Intuit again. Intuit has gone from bad to worse over the last few years. When the IRS was planning to provide free online filing, they lobbied like crazy against it and eventually got them to agree to require filers to go through private companies like them to get to the free filing. This year I had to spend hours filling in my data which they no doubt will sell, before they told me I needed an $86 upgrade for filing taxes for my daughter who made $2100 last year, just because she had $5 of dividends from a small investment I had set up for her. I refuse to buy their software and would rather pay a CPA.
