Five young adults who've led recent efforts to bring about social change along the Midpeninsula will share their perspectives on racial justice and advocacy in a virtual panel discussion on Thursday, Aug. 6, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

I offer encouragement, but also, a caveat. As long as the panelists think racism is completely about skin color, they won't grasp the real problem. The following recent article offers a concise summary of the underlying problem in America:Web Link

How fantastic! Julie Lythcott-Haims is a friend from undergrad (Stanford) and law school (Harvard) and she can be trusted to lead an enlightening, educational conversation. I look forward to attending and learning about the perspectives, experiences, and insights of these amazing young adults!
