Technology: ‘Face2Face’ with Polyvore co-founder

Tedx Bay Area presents “Near Future Predictions about Personal Computing,” featuring Pasha Sadri, the creator of Yahoo! Pipes and a co-founder of Polyvore. Film: The Dream is Now

Stanford University hosts a screening of “The Dream is Now,” a new 30-minute documentary film by Davis Guggenheim (Academy Award-winning director of “Waiting for Superman” and “An Inconvenient Truth”) that tells the story of the undocumented children of immigrants affected by the nation’s broken immigration system. The film was created to keep the focus on Congress’ efforts to pass immigration reform. A panel discussion will follow the film screening, featuring director Davis Guggenheim, chair of the Emerson Collective and wife of Steve Jobs Laurene Powell Jobs and Ola Kaso, a DREAMER featured in the film.   1. these look like worthwhile events to go to. it highlights the consideration that there are places to go and things to do in the bay area. how things do change over time. hang onto the old memories and hope to see a new light for existence within the bay area
