We were driving by on El Camino and noticed the number of rescue vehicles. Thank you for printing this event and thank goodness the worker didn't seem to be seriously hurt. We would also like to thank the PAFD for the great service they provide.

Sonny - you seem to know something of the facts here - ie when OSHA will be on the site. I would like to talk to OSHA about what I saw on site earlier in the day of the accident. Do you have any idea of how to contact the right person at OSHA or who would know? Thax.

It doesn't come as a big surprise, wherever this Builder(Vance Brown) is involved, accidents will happen due to them pushing the work schedules beyond what is real and acceptable and throwing the safety regulations to the side.

Didn't the builder Vance Brown have a worker die when they were building the Stanford Stadium?

Isn't Vance Brown the builder the Peery Foundation wants to use for the Paly gym?

We have worked on many jobs over the years for Vance Brown. They have never asked us to compromise on safety or schedule. They do, however, have high standards of performance for their subcontractors and they reward those companies that meet their standards. They are one of the few General Contractors that we look forward to working for. My prayers are with the injured worker and I am grateful for the excellent firefighters and paramedics who came to his rescue.

The close alliance of the three powerful billionaires Arrillaga and Peery and Stanford exercises a lot of control over our cities, Palo Alto, Stanford and Menlo Park.
Did you notice how the Palo Alto Assistant City Manager promoted the huge, huge, project Stanford plus Arrillaga wanted at 27 University Ave?
