Their request appears as item number 19 on the Council's agenda.
The preceding agenda item, number 18, is a proposal to adopt a resolution about Iran.
Here is what Walter E. Wallis, a resident of the Midtown neighborhood, said in another context about the Iran agenda item:
"The technical term for this behavior is smoke screen. It is unethical to use any city property for other then its intended purpose, and the rationalizations sound just like those for having firemen sandbag houses or police running errands. Councilfolk, get your paws out of petty cash and fix those problems that lie entirely within the scope of city government."
Cordell and Kleinberg are sponsors of both the Iran resolution and the proposed change to Foothills Park entrance requirements.
I believe the rationalization for changing the Foothills Park entrance requirement is a smoke screen, and I believe placing the proposed Iran resolution on the same agenda as the proposed change to the Foothills Park entrance requirements is also a smoke screen.
