Obama coming again?

Original post made by Bob , Community Center, on Jun 5, 2013

The Palo Alto Patch reported that Pres. Obama will be here tomorrow for another fund rai$er, this time in the Crescent Park area - specifically around University and Middlefield. There have been no alerts from the PAPD re: street closures, traffic rerouting, parking restrictions - the usual. If the Weekly can find out, please tell us.

(look out - here come the whiners)

(You know, the ones who never complained online when a certain President came into the area in 2007 and 2008.... let them prove me wrong, and them not hypocritical, by posting links o previous posts in 2008.)

Welcome, Mr President! My primary complaint about your Bay Area visits? DO A PUBLIC EVENT! Let our kids see you and ask questions!

The street closures and parking restrictions are nothing compared to the flight restrictions. Deadly force is authorized. The FAA is usually good for advanced warning of VIP movement -- Web Link -- time interval is 5:30pm Thursday to 10am Friday.

Latitudes and longitudes correspond to a Moffett Field arrival and the destinations given in the Patch article. Plus an apparent overnight stay in downtown San Jose. Good photo op for those who want to see Air Force One in action.

Obama comes to the Bay Area because he literally can't get money anywhere else!

"because he literally can't get money anywhere else"

And thus you see the intellect of the opposition, fueled by fox - factless, clueless. Just absurd.

Yo p@arasite, enjoy the new NSA!

I am not interested in the politics of the Presidents' visit or the purpose. I just want to know what the traffic and parking restrictions will be, when they start, and when they end. Will University be shut down for a period and traffic directed to Willow and Embarcadero or Page Mill? Will Middlefield be closed at the Middlefield/University intersection? Somebody just tell us. There have been plenty of traffic restrictions for this president and others. Remember when VP Biden had lunch downtown? Somebody knows. PAPD? WHAT???

Don't miss out on the discussion!
