Happy Anniversary BP!

Original post made by bp, Downtown North, on Apr 20, 2013

This year, Earth Day celebrates the 3rd anniversary of the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico (April 20, 2010). In honor of this event, the states of Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama (not exactly the most liberal states in the country) have filed Federal lawsuits accusing BP of massive failure in the Gulf cleanup. Oil is still visible on the shoreline and in the ocean. Some businesses are still closed, residents are still out of their homes, and shoreline formerly teaming with birds and fish are now barren. Happy Anniversary BP!

The most profitable industry in history, and they still can't clean up after themselves.

Is it pure greed, or their mama didn't teach them right?
