Palo Alto Weekly's Holiday Fund campaign kicks off

From after-school tutoring to desperately needed food, the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund has helped local nonprofit organizations serve children and families since 1994. This year's fundraiser begins on Friday, Nov. 9, with a goal of $350,000.

Anyway, I would love to see the Palo Alto Humane Society and maybe one or two other struggling groups helping homeless pets be included on the recipient list. That said, thank you for this generous yearly tradition.
