"Our community is fueled by the generosity of volunteers." Well said, dear Loretta. Thank you for your many years of service and the gracious way you engage others.

I hope many young people will be inspired by your story to work in the community as volunteers. Dedicating time to volunteer (even while working) has given so much meaning to my own life, as I know it has to yours. Working as volunteers, we have the opportunity to commune with generous people and make important changes in our community. It is both a generous thing to do, and joyful blessing to be part of this transformative work.

Through volunteerism, I have had the opportunity to get to know most of the generous, talented people on this list and my own life is richer for it. Lucky me! A good life is a life of service and love.

Congratulations on this acknowledgement of your contributions!
