I had the pleasure of seeing the play this week, and I was absolutely blown away. Great Oglesby is riveting, and Fannie Lou Hamer's story needs to be told and retold. We don't learn enough about her (or learn about her at all) in school, and we are all the poorer for that. Run to see this show before it closes!

An excellent production on every level. Do not miss this. The most disturbing element is that we must continue to fight so many of the same battles today

Outstanding performance, bringing memories from the sixties to life and giving much insight into her life and the early sixties and the Civil Rights movement! Greta Oglesby tells the story of Fannie Lou Hamer powerfully, everyone in the audience is moved! Thanks to all the Theatre Works folks who made this possible!
