Canopy Executive Director Catherine Martineau to retire after 18 years

Catherine Martineau was on her third career when she joined Canopy, Palo Alto's urban forest advocacy organization, in 2004. When she retires on Feb. 28, she will leave a strong legacy.

Wonderful article.

That said, the final photo caption might need to be corrected. I don't know many South Palo Alto backyards which feature garages, driveways, and streets with cars parked on them.

Perhaps the caption should read "Volunteers plant trees in THE FRONT yard of a south Palo Alto home on Dec. 4, 2021?"
