Not only disabled people will be affected. Residents who live in other parts of the county will be affected by parking restrictions that are now in effect in and around the buildings where these public meetings are held. It is both difficult to find parking and to feed the meters when you are trying to participate in a meeting that drags on unpredictably. People who attend public meetings should be able to get free, unlimited parking time near these buildings for the entire meeting they are attending. Transit options to get there are really awful from north county. The parking problem excludes low income and time-limited people who juggle work and civic life.
