The City of Palo Alto should follow, and I hope support this vital Bill.

From my perspective, the street lights are dimmed to such an extent that it is dangerous for pedestrians to walk at night without carrying a flashlight to be seen, particularly when crossing the street.

Classic case of lawmakers caring about edge-case concerns while ignoring immediate life-threating issues. Homelessness, rampant petty theft, and massive transportation congestion. I appreciate the effort but AB38 doesn't hold a candle to any of those problems.
