Just want to first thank all the bay area counties that are stepping up to protect our rights to make personal choices about our bodies. Then to say that anyone who objects and claims to be a 'right to life' proponent needs to prove their interest and support of life AFTER birth, for any baby in any condition, and life for the mother, and life - good life - for other members of a family whose mother knows adding one more child will harm the others. And I want to say that any person whose body cannot carry a baby has no right to speak out on this subject. Men have their moment - it does take 2 to make a pregnancy - and then leave the woman to potentially 9 difficult months PLUS really 18 years of mothering to raise a child. If a woman is prepared and able to do this, motherhood is wonderful - but if it comes unplanned (again, with the "help" of a man), she suffers, physically, emotionally, and financially.
