Good article. How about interviewing local small businesses.....from restaurants to retail, from construction to auto repair, and grocery stores too.....nobody is applying for these jobs !......and we will all be the worse when our small businesses go away!

“In fact, he's betting on it: He plans to open another restaurant focused exclusively on takeout.”

This is exactly what’s going to happen in the future. People will get creative and think of new ways of doing business and will also create new businesses like this restaurant here focusing only on takeout.

As far as going back to normal, things will be looking a lot more like normal by January of 2022 and even more so in Spring 2022. Booster shots are coming as well as shots for children under 12. Maybe even a vaccine 2.0 and antiviral pills to take for Covid. More people will also be vaccinated or had previous infections. That will push us all closer to herd immunity. There should not be constant outbreaks or constant disease spread at that point. This all will help businesses go back to normal as well as all of the work that our great President Biden has been putting in right now to get the economy back up and running. It’s really nice to have a real President again that actually knows what they are doing. Results just won’t happen overnight. Everyone wants instant results because that’s how everything is nowadays due to technology. It’s not a microwave oven. It will take some time and some patience. So, to answer the question posed in the article, yes there is something around the corner.
