Federal funds aid city's bid to replace aged fire station

Palo Alto's effort to rebuild Fire Station 4 next to Mitchell Park just received a big boost, with U.S. Sen. Alex Padilla including $6 million in funding for the project in his allocation request.

Nice article. South Palo Alto needs a modern fire station that will work after a major earthquake and this is great news about possible funding for it.
