Alpine all-stars gain an advantage in District 52 tournament

In a battle of unbeatens between all-star teams from neighboring leagues, Alpine came out on top of Menlo-Atherton, 2-1, in a District 52 12-U winner’s bracket game Saturday at Middlefield Park in Palo Alto.
