Many instances of a very generic term “radiation” in this article. It’s unfortunate that this may misinform or scare many readers. The one time the author tried to be a bit more specific they missed the mark. This machine most likely uses a beam of PROTONS rather than a “beam of photons” (sic) and the average reader might be better served if the author wrote about “proton beam therapy” instead of “radiation treatment”.

This article unfortunately doesn't provide any real insight into this technology, but does let us know that there are indeed advancements in this field. However, regarding the comments from Baluster, the primary article describing the integration of radiotherapy and artificial intelligence (reference below) describes 'Photon Optimization' and while this does sound like proton beam technology on its surface, proton therapy is nonetheless still a type of radiation therapy.
