Water shortages: Why some Californians are running out in 2021 and others aren't

This is an excellent article on our water situation and options. I'll be sending it several Californians not lucky enough to get the Palo Alto Online news.

I agree this is an excellent article. Seeing that it's published in the Palo Alto Online, I was hoping for some mention of Palo Alto's own situation. There's a lot about Santa Clara County, but almost all about the southern part of the county, which I believe has a very different situation from Palo Alto's.

Let's stop pooping in our drinking water. It's really time to take seriously our alternatives. It is easy to set up a bucket pooper in your house and a discreet compost bin in the corner of your yard. Urinating outdoors, moving around to different plants, provides water content and nutrients to our yard and prevents using precious drinking water for waste disposal. It is completing a nutrient cycle, protecting our water and enhancing our soil. Check out humanure online. It's time folks, to deal with our own poop. Please.
