County rescinds May 18 COVID-19 workplace order as vaccination rate hits 80%

Santa Clara County leaders announced that they are rescinding a May 18 order that regulated COVID-19 vaccination data and other requirements for businesses and offices.

On the surface this looks like SCC rescinding rules for its business community.

The reality is that they are putting the blame for the restrictions on CalOsha. For the average employer, the rules are the same regardless of which entity is calling the rules.

I've always thought The Almanac served a larger community than just south of San Franciscito Creek. I live in Menlo Park and would love to see more of our news as well--particularly with regard to COVID. Possible?
