If we vaccinate the 65 and over, the mortality rate will drop by 95%. The economy can get back to normal at that point. It will accomplish the goals of reducing deaths from Covid, and lowering the burden on hospitals, and getting the economy back to normal. It’s a no brainer. That’s appropriately 50 million people. Either in concert or right after people with high risk conditions should be next. That’s approximately 40 million people. It seems pretty straightforward to me.
