As forecasted high winds pick up, PG&E to cut power to thousands in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties

With dry conditions and wind gusts at high points throughout the Bay Area expected to hit up to 70 miles per hour, PG&E has shut off power to thousands of local customers to prevent wildfires.

So far today - 10/26 - no wind, no power potages. YEAH. But I keep looking at the news to figure out what is going on out there. My son lives in the Oakland Hills but he is on vacation elsewhere. I worry about his house. I worry about that cat.
