Pre-Covid Memories in Palo Alto | What do you miss?

Original post made by Ardan Michael Blum, Downtown North, on Oct 21, 2020

Thoughts about the days before the pandemic hit.

- I miss the intermissions at the Stanford Theatre. That combined sound of munching on popcorn and the silent screen tunes of the wonderful Wurlitzer (organ) which rises from the stage as we wait for the second show.

What about you? What do you miss?

The loss of Antonio's Nut House due to the pandemic was a tragedy for young and old!

Tailgating and Stanford football games. My kids lacrosse tournaments. Halloween is going to be a total bummer.

Looking back:

I miss that warm handshake from Panos G. at Evvia.

I miss Gerardo M. giving me my haircut at (the) Cardinal Barbers.

I miss the friendly staff from the Walgreens (that closed on University).

I miss not being able to go to Form Fitness early in the morning.

Here is my page about Palo Alto that I love: Web Link
