I am very fearful. As a single paren if two school age children, I am doing all the right COVID pandemic mitigation and protocols. Yet too attempting to protect the hovel we reside in is nearing a third crisis. Lucky I can access Foothill Park. It may be that the City will be forced to open that space up for temporary PA residents tent living — like SF did after ‘06 Earthquake & fire. My kids are scared we’ll have nowhere to go. How will they then plug in to “distant” learn from the streets of Palo Alto. Our very existence is being held together by feathers and string right now. Metaphorically speaking, yet real.
