Art 'from the heart': Local muralist Jose Castro creates powerful protest imagery in Redwood City

If you've been to downtown Redwood City recently, you've noticed the buildings around Courthouse Square covered with some striking public art and messages in support of social justice and the Black Lives Matter movement.

On university front of the old liddicoats, on cardboard.

We went to our favorite Poke place around the corner

We went to our favorite Poke place around the corner from Fox theater. Every business was boarded up. On the right the artists painted:

"STOLEN FROM THE NATIVE PEOPLE
BUILT BY THE SLAVES
BEAUTIFIED BY LATIN X"

I pointed out that they forgot to add all the other hard working, tax paying folks, that helped to build America. Like for example:
The Chinese who helped build the railroads, along with Irish, the Italians, Polish, the History, of the Sikh's in the Central Valley, South East Asians.....ect......
