When it comes to abuse and crime, I guess education level doesn't matter. Life in prison without parole.

The documented evidence, university investigation results & subsequent prosecution by U.S. Attorney's office makes for a pretty strong case against this doctor.

Pleading guilty would be an admission of guilt & open the door for maximum sentencing guidelines.

Pleading not guilty would be time consuming & expensive (in terms of attorney fees) & if found guilty, the aforementioned sentencing protocols would be back in play.

Best bet is to plead no contest & go for a sentencing settlement between the judge and opposing attorneys.

Either way, his goose is cooked as the Palo Alto community has not forgotten the Turner/Persky incident.

How many other victims are out there? I don't believe "alleged" sex offenders "strike once."

"Palo Alto community": You must be new around here. Google "Turner Persky" and you'll get an eyeful. Brock Turner committed a serious sexual assault on the Stanford campus, Judge Persky gave him a super-light sentence, and Persky was recalled. It all went down in the last few years.
