The pandemic has dramatically altered animal-rescue operations throughout the region, where hundreds of volunteers have opened their doors to foster animals as rescue facilities clear out their kennels.

Bravo for Pets in Need! You guys are terrific. You have really stepped up in these troubling times, and indeed, your efforts are being added to my list of silver linings (which is small, but growing).
