Alhambra brings Irish pub traditions to downtown Redwood City

Irish pubs capture in one warm and convivial place all that's good and right in the world: community, humor, good drink and soulful music. And in Alhambra Irish House's case, some pretty tasty food as well.

Why put honey in the soda bread? I strongly dislike sweet bread and really want to be able to taste the soda and buttermilk. What a shame!

I make Paul Hollywood's soda bread, and if I want to slightly sweeten it I will add raisins, not honey.

Sad fail, but I still look forward to visiting.
