His visit will devalue the home price significantly. Sad!

Not a big fan of presidential visits it’s always an inconvenience. Also I suggest protesters stay out of PV and instead protest in their own towns, people here are just trying to go about the day without being further inconvenienced. Thanks

If you're looking at this visit as Trump would, you might ask yourself how to get a commitment from Trump to help our homeless and vehicle dwelling friends move into better situations. Also a great time to hammer home the importance of hard-working immigrants to our economy. With the fantastic weather, it's a shame he likely won't get out for a hike and realize how important it is to protect our open spaces and the environment in general.

So strange - I thought he campaigned on not needing or being influenced by fundraising and donors cos he is a BILLIONAIRE....

I thought parts of Troncos Road are in Palo Alto?

Remind me that I’ve been meaning to get up to see the new Zotts.

I’d feel better if we had a leader who ate locally fried greasy burgers rather than national chain.

Sounds like Scott and #45 have a lot in common, displays of ostentatious wealth are how they roll. Honestly it is disgusting. They are doing all they can to ensure #45's re-election so that those with obscene wealth can keep as much as possible. Also getting rid of all those annoying environmental rules and consumer protection get in the way of making even more money. Meanwhile about 12 miles away people living on the streets of Mountain View in decrepit RV's.. A dystopian future awaits if #45 is given 4 more years.

I think it's disgusting that protesters are allowed to be so disrespectful by flying the Baby Trump, etc. If people had done that with Obama, there would have been outrage by the very people who are protesting now. So it's no racism if the target is a white/Jewish but it's racism if the president is African-American? The President of the U.S. should be respected either way, he is our President. But some people are just classless.

The left has wasted two years not serving the public, just continuing their tantrum for losing the election. If the conservatives reacted as such, the liberals would call them poor sports.

The liberals people are actually narrow-minded and cannot understand any other opinions besides theirs. They are true hypocrites. They claim they care but I don't see them helping the homeless or their causes. They want illegal immigrants only for the votes.

I hope Trump wins re-election because he has been productive. I am pro-choice and an environmentalist but still see the good he has done for the country. It's true, we need a businessman to run the country, not an academian. We will vote with in privacy because the liberals are shushing us in public.

iSez, Trump deserves no respect, president or not. "Grab em by the pussy" is not something anyone should be proud of. Is Trump doing anything to prevent Russian interference in our elections? No. Is he doiing anything to prevent climate change? No. Did he do anything at all when Saudi Arabia brutally dismembered a journalist? No. Trump is universally despised by our allies. He is a disgrace, pure and simple.

@Jonathan Brown's comment: "With the fantastic weather, it's a shame he likely won't get out for a hike and realize how important it is to protect our open spaces and the environment in general."

How far from reality are you??? Can you really imagine that Trump would go on a hike ? Laughable!

@jrusoff: And again, the liberals are dismissing all the Bill Clinton sex charges, rape, time spent with Epstein and only focusing on what Trump has not yet addressed. Past presidents did less good than Trump. Newsflash: Democrats are not angels despite but Democrats just sweep all their transgressions under the rug. It's a huge rug, actually a carpet, BTW. I love it that President Trump is in the Bay Area! Liberals [portion removed] can choke on it. BTW, Trump is NOT responsible for the Peninsula's twenty year deterioration with bad public schools, congestion, gridlock, crime, homelessness, drugs and inundation of illegals. The blame lies squarely on the blue fools and charlatans in Sacramento...

@jrsoff...Did Obama do anything to prevent Russian interference in the last presidential election? No. Telling Putin to "cut it out" was really bold and brave, wasn't it? Just like when he drew the line in the sand over the Syrian debacle and did nothing about it. Obama blamed a video for the attack on Benghazi. We know how true that was, right? Obama was the laughing stock of our allies. He was seen as weak and feckless. The U.S.leads the world in efforts on climate change.Trump wants the rest of the world to do more and foot some of the cost.Trump is respected by our allies and much of Europe is starting to think about taking care of their own people and countries first, following his lead.

SO irresponsible to post the home address of this event. If anyone has an issue with safety this site will surely be questioned. Have never seen this level of disregard for safety and privacy on any article. ever-

I hope he borrows a page from the old Steve Martin routine and they all march over to Alpine Beer Garden and order 100 hamburgers to go.

It's totally do-able: one point three miles, 28 min on foot. Man, they should have hired me as their pr guy!
