District leadership asks board to fund school safety positions

With school safety as a top priority at Palo Alto Unified this year, staff are asking the board to allocate upwards of $200,000 for two new positions to oversee security and emergency preparedness.

For the most part our schools are very safe. Just a PR stunt and another chance to waste money.
