After watching them play Thailand and hyper-celebrating their 9th, 10th, 11th...goals, it simply became too difficult to root for them. Even if the intent was not to humiliate their opponent, at worst id did and at best it was such a bad look. It was embarrassing and I just could not get on the wagon with them this year. I guess I'm glad they won it but I would have rather have seen another group take it this year.

"I would have rather have seen another group take it this year."
Nice priority. Go back to supporting that local cheater, Tom Brady.
Congrats, to a phenomenal group of athletes, and a historically great American team!
Go USA!!

Perhaps some prefer the "participation trophy" level of sport.

I'm hoping next year's squad will be good as well and win EVERY game with class, even the blowouts.
Go USA 2020!

There is no World Cup in 2020! All you fairweather haters would probably never have followed this event if Trump hadn't bullied them.

Geez... a little sensitive, from the splinters you sustained while jumping on the bandwagon?
The koolaid made you forget about the Tokyo Olympics or the FIFA events? Or the stellar ratings from previous events?
Go USA!!
