The Egg

Among recent public art efforts in Palo Alto was The Egg, in Lytton Plaza. You recall this orb constructed from old circuit boards that graced downtown for several years, and was not so ceremoniously removed.

News flash: it has a new home at Harvard Business School, apparently renovated and on loan for 5 years at the Stanford of the East.
