What happened to Mike‘s Cafe in Midtown?

Original post made by CCW, Greendell/Walnut Grove, on Jul 3, 2018

Last year we heard they were expanding, taking over the space of the Hardware Store. We never saw any workers. I just googled it today and the words „ permanently closed“ appeared. Does anyone know why the plans fell through? We really liked going there. It was a nice, casual restaurant with good food and reasonable prices.
