Japanese Students Need Homes for 11 Days

Original post made by Suzanne Autry, Menlo Park, on Mar 6, 2018

Open your heart and your home! Host a foreign student for a short visit this spring! On March 24, ten 17 year old students from Kajiki High School in Japan will arrive at SFO hoping to stay with American families on the Peninsula. These are hand-picked students, winners of a scholarship competition. They are bright, positive, and friendly. They will be in organized activities from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm each weekday during their 11 day stay. The host family has no financial obligation beyond room and board from March 24 to April 4. Students don’t expect to be entertained, they just want to be treated as a part of the family. Students are fully insured, well-oriented, and supported by Japanese and American advisers. Students want to share Japanese food, music, sports, games, school and family life while they learn about American culture by fitting into your family. Transportation can be arranged. Contact Suzanne Autry through this post or at 209 988-5653 for more information.
