Hooked on fitness

Original post made on Jan 5, 2018

The sun is rising over the field at Cubberley Community Center and frost still covers the grass. About 20 early-morning exercisers are karaoke-stepping around the track, pausing at each bend for a round of weight lifting.

This is an excellent work out class. I love that it is outdoors all year (also shelters provided at Cubberley when there is bad weather) I have been in Michael's classes since he began. It's a real plus having the classes at Cubberley track in the AM! Michael is funny, warm, positive, and balances of all of the levels of capabilities in his classes so well! Reasonably priced, extremely high value! Great participants!

Michael is the key ingredient to this bootcamp exercise. I have been coming to the various sessions (6am, 7am, 8:30am and 6pm) for the past 7 years. Before that no other program kept me engaged for a long time. But now I love the hard work, the social and the outdoor aspespects of this exercise program. Rain or shine!

Michael has that special feel to get an extra 2, 5 or even 10% out of you. He is one of the most humble, positive, motivational coaches. And he makes me laugh every single morning!

I've been going to bootcamp for 10 years and can't recommend it highly enough. Michael has the unique ability to get the most out of you, regardless of your fitness level, while putting a smile on your face. I've tried multiple bootcamps and fitness regimes, but Gfit is a special class that always makes you feel welcome
