I'm near the corner of Middlefield and San Antonio. I heard it, my daughter heard it, and the gas station attendant at the corner of Middlefield and San Antonio hear it. It was just one single boom. I'm trying to gauge how wide spread it was. If you heard it please post your approximate location. If you know what it was I'm curious to know too.
Town Square
Anyone hear a sonic boom about 5:50 PM Friday Nov. 24

This was all over Nextdoor.com on Friday evening and PAPD tweeted on Twitter that it was a firework!
So, yes it was heard and investigated and a firework.
BTW, Nextdoor seems to be the place to find out information now rather than Town Square.

The police said a resident told them it was a firework. Not sure that's comforting. Search on explosions on Townsquare and you will see a number of these over the years of late. We heard one while at the corner of El Camino and Page Mill, and it was definitely not fireworks.
We heard a second one once around 2am near BrionesPark, that was followed by a small shock that we could feel as if there had been a small earthquake, but it wasn't.
There have been others reported, with similar observations. I would rather see a deeper investigation.

Does anyone actually believe that was a firework? I don't. I think someone is doing something illegal on their property and overstressed their electrical and gas systems and blew up their illegal activity. We have total idiots running around who are capable of anything. Like loading up young techies in a house? People reading up on how to make a bomb? So who is your neighbor? Someone knows where this took place and who did it. We need to get to the bottom of this type activity.
