Wow - take us with you!
My fondest memories of childhood are the road trips.
Great story.

Gary and Jean, thanks for the post. We are RVers like you folks. In 2015 we went cross country for tenmonths and logged some ten thousand miles. What a great country is ours to see and enjoy. We also use the Microsoft software to plan and rarely make reservations. Perhaps we will meet someday on the road. We wish you the best in your future travelsDvzsk

They say "there was a problem adding your comment" What to do now??
Maybe, do not get stuck in the mud with your RV.

Interesting perspective.
But if these people were relatives who wanted to come and visit Palo Alto for say a family wedding in the area, would they be treated like those on ECR?

This is great living. I only wish that my wife and I could do this. Unfortunately being people of color in America still limits us to places we would love to go and see. We are both history and travel buffs but there are limitations of where we can go not because of finances as we both ar comfortably retired but as I said people of color are still limited. Best of travels to you all.
PS: we do have an RV but we travel only limited East Coast locales.
