Thankfully, SOMEONE involved with CTM has some sense and repainted the building from eye-scorching Orange to early-jaundice yellow - a notable improvement. Now if they could just take down the gimmicky Castle Wall structures and lamps up top Miki's new shop, we'd really be in business. Or else they should go all in and build a moat and make CTM Market a themed grocery store . This in-between stuff is a no womans' land.

This has to one of the ugliest buildings in Palo Alto. What are these people thinking?

So sad to hear about Michaela's Flower Shop, formerly Stapletons Florist, closing. I remember when Mr. and Mrs. Stapleton owned the shop; they were wonderful. Many a Paly student worked there during the summer, including my brother and sister. Hopefully it will remain a flower shop - but I highly doubt it. I hate seeing so many shops I grew up with disappear:(
