Lots of low planes over S. Palo Alto

Original post made by Flight changes, Fairmeadow, on Apr 26, 2017

The past three days have seen lots of low (well below 5000ft) planes over S. Palo Alto. Seems like they are making or testing a change. The complaints on have gone through the roof. Hopefully the experiment will be deemed a failure.

From 5:20am (UA 955 [TLV-SFO] B788) at 4080 ft to 11:08pm (DL1370 [DTW-SFO] B753) at 4060 ft, and all in between. It's just lovely living here.

Please keep up the reports! (I expect it's a bit nicer though in some parts of Palo Alto now.)

Yes, I have noticed it.
I was in the back yard most of this week doing yard work and could not believe how large the planes looked when they are so low. I have also seen a lot of small planes that fly low over Palo Alto and are very loud. They do not show up on that I have ever seen.

To be honest, I never noticed the noise of aircraft u till last MemorialDay weekend: that weekend there were over half a dozen large, low-flying jets flying low enough to shake the house and new windows-- each time after 11pm.

It wakes our small children and terrifies them, as well as costing us a lot of lost sleep!

I see the planes, but can't hear them over all the leaf blowers ALL DAY EVERYDAY
