Gunn HS presents The Crucible

Original post made by Local Theatre Lover, Greenmeadow, on Oct 25, 2016

I just observed a rehearsal for Gunn High School Theatre's "The Crucible. If you are looking for high quality, local theatre, you'll find it at Gunn in this riveting and relevant performance. Tickets are on sale online now. More info below.

ABOUT THE PLAY: A tale of mass hysteria with a message that transcends time, Arthur Miller’s allegorical play about the Salem Witch Trials and the red scare in the 50s strongly resonates in 2016. The fear of the unknown, believing those who point fingers and relationship of humans to God are all explored in depth in this production. A fascinating exhibition of human nature, The Crucible remains a feat not only in American literature, but as a haunting exploration of our nation’s troubling past.
