Palo Alto Trump supporters: come out of hiding!

Original post made by Resident, South of Midtown, on Oct 18, 2016

Just got my beautiful "Make America Great Again" hat. But for some reason, I am scared to wear it out in public.

I thought Palo Alto was an open and tolerant society?

At least we can convene here anonymously

Even before the recent video emerged of the Democrat "bird dogging" program, it was clear there has been a nationally organized intent to intimidate and silence Trump supporters.

[Portion removed.]

What Trump supporter in Silicon Valley hasn't felt afraid of speaking up at work, in their community or in public. Angry curse words, vulgar gestures, destruction of campaign signs or personal property and even real violence at Trump events are somehow acceptable and justifiable by liberals.

At Google, Facebook, and other socially active corporations the management actively promotes a specific political agenda and everyone knows their livelihood is on the line if they ever slip up and express a different point of. view. For a town that likes to pride itself in open thought, where politics is concerned Silicon Valley is the height of authoratarianism, censorship and hypocracy.

I do not like Donald Trump, however I agree with the above statement. When free speech is squashed so are our liberties. We are in a new era where limousine liberals control our every move. Wake up America!

I display my American flag for every veteran's holiday. People probably think I'm a Republican. But I respect our law enforcement and military. People take their safety for granted here in America because it's what we are accustomed to.

"open and tolerant" is what the religions preach. However, very few human beings are open and tolerant. Everyone is judgmental and those who deny it are liars.

I don't think it's just here in bleeding-heart-liberal Palo Alto that opposes Trump. There is a silent majority, but Trump is so busy with verbal revenge instead of focusing on his platform that he is likely going to lose this race. I'm so anti-Clinton that I will vote for Trump, although admittedly, not with open arms. I'm addicted to CNN but it's clear their reporting is biased against Trump. And the media is biased against Trump. So I end up watching FOX News too (shh).

If Biden had put his hat in the ring, he would be the easy choice.

Life in general is based upon marketing, politics, and appearance.
