We just finished a huge kitchen remodel and converted from an AEK to natural gas for cooking.
Does the city plan to close down the gas lines?
Sometimes I wonder if Palo Alto's continuous BS if a thinly veiled ploy to get us all to stop eating at home and dine out instead. If it is, I won't dine out in Palo Alto!

Congratulations on your timely, informative, and well executed website. Let's hope our decision makers read and comprehend it before they irrevocably do something silly and counterproductive like requiring electrification, which is the highest-carbon alternative for energy delivery.
Carbon-neutral is still carbon-emitting, and carbon offsets are only Wall Street style illusions. We cannot buy ourselves out of our obligation to cut emissions.

It's genius, force consumers to use electricity and pay a huge premium to big companies that burn natural gas to supply said electricity. The perfect green scam.

Be sure to sign the Petition on the web site if you want to stop this electrification nonsense.
