Flowers for Vets this Sunday

Original post made by [email protected], another community, on Dec 9, 2015

Nature's Alley florist in Midtown is proud to announce the 5th annual flowers for Vets program on Sunday the 13th at Nature's Alley starting at 9am. No experience is needed. What is needed are volunteers to help make the flower arrangements, bag cookies and other goodies and make holiday cards for the vets. These will be delivered to the Palo Alto VA around 1pm. You can come anytime and help. All ages welcome. Monetary conations to cover the $6 per each vet is appreciated. Last year we provided holiday cheer to 150 vets. Home baked goodies are welcome...if they contain nuts, just need to be labeled. Any questions call Karen at 650-326-3632Thanks in advance. P>S> The big hearted man in the red suit from the North Pole is expected to join us.
