I am glad that this guy is finally off of the streets. However, I am puzzled by the fact that this man was charged with ATTEMPTED MURDER for stabbing his dad just five years ago and is already out on the streets again. How is that possible?

Wow, however they identified and nabbed this guy, that is some great police work!
Great job PAPD.

Stabs someone in public, at Town & Country five short years ago?
I wonder if the Palo Alto Online would take the time to follow what happens to
some of these violent criminals when they are reported and report on what
happens to them, that is, if they show up back in the news.
How many, how often, what is the rate of recidivism, etc? This just doesn't
seem like our justice system is working very well.
Do we really have so many of these kinds of people that we do not have room
in the prison, mental healthy programs, the courts, whatever to manage them?

I hate to say it, but one of the reasons I don't like to park in any of the multi-storied parking lots is because of some of the sketchy individuals who hang out there, day or night. I just don't feel safe in them.

Is this the same parking garage where the Latino teen was a recent victim of a hate crime stabbing?

More good work by the PAPD. They seem to be really on a roll based on today's articles alone!
