Implementing Parking Permit Program

Original post made by anyprogress, Downtown North, on Jul 22, 2014

In January of this year there was an article stating that the city council voted to begin steps towards implementing a city wide parking permit program.

"By a unanimous vote, the City Council directed staff to draft an ordinance that establishes a framework for a citywide "residential parking permit program," which would allow participating neighborhoods to create parking restrictions on their residential blocks."

6 months later, does anyone know where the city is in this process?

Probably iced per instructions from Stanford and other commercial property owners. They need our streets for their employee parking.
