Incoming Stanford freshman wins junior decathlon title

Stanford-bound Harrison Williams won the junior national championship in the decathlon on Thursday, scoring the second-highest total in U.S. history.

Wow, almost 7,800 points by an 18 year old and a 600 point improvement in one year. He could become the best Stanford decathlete since Bob Mathias. This will be fun to watch him develop. I hope lots of people turn out for the meets.
