When novelist and tech-skeptic Jonathan Franzen pays a visit March 6 to Silicon Valley as part of the Peninsula Open Space Trust's annual Wallace Stegner Lectures, his goal won't be so much to ruffle feathers as to celebrate them.

Franzen is a piece of work! In addition to being a Luddite, his first book was removed from many book clubs ( including Oprah's), after it was found that Franzen had plagiarized most of it from another writer!

Franzen has no credibility as far as I am concerned.
