Maybe this movie is great and really worth 4 stars, but from seeing the previews and reading about the plot it just sounds incredibly stupid, trying to ride the tech boom's coat-tails by making Siri or any computer into something it is not and never will be.

Every year that goes by movies just seem to get worse and worse, more formulaic and cynical in the ways they try to trick people into thinking there is any value in them.

I think I'd rather see just about anything playing at the Stanford Theater than the "best of the best" of the new crop of junk starring the new crop of celebrity junkies.

Strong second on that motion. I'll be at the Stanford for all four Joan Fontaine films even though I've seen two of them several times. They had the usual enthusiastic turn-out for Wonderful Life on Christmas Eve.
