Life is one hell of a ride, as George Clooney's character puts it. So is "Gravity." -P.C.

Yeah, I got that from the previews. I like a good Sci-fi yarn ... but have not seen much of anything interesting for quite a while. Last year's "Prometheus" seemed to equate ridiculous to science fiction, and this year's "Star Trek: Into Darkness" is pretty much where they drove the Star Trek franchise. I love the idea of a true to like scientific, "hard" science fiction movie, I'm just not sure "Gravity" is it. I have to go all the way back to 2011's "Limitless" to find a decent Sci-Fi story ... but that movie was so over the top violent.

So, guess I will wait to see Gravity on NetFlix or Amazon Prime.
